The Pharos Island

Our heroes arrive at the skyland of Arden, where a great lighthouse is used by a number of kingdoms to help airships navigate the skylands of the world. Disembarking, the heroes hear that the lighthouse was attacked by a group of goblins from Darkhaven.

First visiting the Church of Light to help survivors, they hear that the bridge to the lighthouse is guarded by harpies, whose songs can drive men mad and thus have been able to keep others from trying to take back the lighthouse.

The heroes get some help from gnome bakers, who help form wax earplugs that they can use to protect themselves from the harpies. They also visit the Hunters' Guild and talk to Brofin, who says the goblins have probably taken the lighthouse to serve their own cancerous fleet. The party is able to convince Brofin (and entice him with gold) to help rid the goblins.

After crossing the bridge and fending off the harpies, the party treks up the stories of the lighthouse to the top, where a hobgoblin captain tries to fend them off (along with a manticore and goblin reinforcements. Although a pesky nilbog gives them some grief, the heroes manage to kill both the manticore and the hobgoblin and take back the lighthouse. Brofin takes the manticore's tail as part of his payment and Arden congratulates them on a job well done.
